I've always said that you meet really strange people when you're buying or selling cars or houses.

I guess that you think that now!
 
One way or another these individuals sound like trouble and I would simply refuse their request and send them on their way...

Good news Disca - maybe they have had a bad experience in the past, but it seems to be all sorted now. :thumbsup:
 
Car is collected and gone.
They are actually really nice in person, just think it would have been down to her parents not being able to see it, and them controlling the money!

I was at the VW dealer yesterday and saw the Up there - the new one is in the range from 8k - 25k. I did not realise it was possible to spec a 25k Up ???
 
Piece of rubbish even at 8K.

I would be scared if one of my children drove that (included is the YARIS which is deadly and even more so the 107/C1/Aygo).

Try to work with the buyer to placate any concerns as a sale is a sale, but that list is ample for a full blown identity theft.

As many know I work in the banking sector so can assure you that if you sent me that lot I could have taken over most of your life within 48 hours, so be careful..
 
Too late CJ, car has gone. Guess your Marbella drinking session from last night had not cleared yet :poke:
 
Sadly flew back this morning ready for a dose of work reality on Monday :thumbsdown:

Guess I'm not firing on all cylinders yet (not that I will for a few days)

Yes Disca, not questioning your Up mind you but I have seen that these small cheap cars are built from literally paper thin sheet metal and with no chassis legs as we know.

Each to their own I guess!

I personally found it a very capable car for what I brought it for.
Was more spacious than my S5 inside...
