Car(s) dilemma: help please

I had similar issues when I went to pick mine up & i ended up driving home in the salesmans 3 series coupe it was virtually new but a 320d! & I purchased the car 2 hrs away from where I lived but in hindsight I wished the M3 offered similar economy to the 320d!

Sorry it's not gone totally to plan but you will be well chuffed with it when you finally collect it I am sure, it will be worth the wait, wishing you all the best.

Thanks mate. Had a look at my m this morning and still quite a bit of scratch marks to fix but damn i was so close to saying the hell with it give me my car now haha. Anyway they are fixing the wheel this coming week along with all of the exterior scratches that are still there and interior ones they completely missed. On the bright side they gave me a 730D with M Sport Kit until the car is ready and told me i don't need to top up the fuel when i return it which is nice of them. Another week of painful waiting. Hope it goes by fast.

Aso leeZ4MR do you have any recommendations for M3 forums? There are way too many i have come across. M3Cutters seems good so far but would be great to get your recommendation. thank you.

It's good to hear you have got a 730d to play with I would like to experience one of those

Regarding forums to be honest I only really use M3Cutters & spend a lot of time on Pistonheads on the bmw & M section that's all really for me.

Hope the time goes quickly for you & I know how you feel as it was two weeks for me to wait after I originally went to pick mine up the snow in January this year got in the way!!

Joined M3Cutters but can't post anything on it cause the mod hasn't approved by account yet, kinda lame but oh well.

1 more day!! damn this week is dragging. At least the 740D has been fun so far, really love the interior:



Anyway I took some pics of the car last week. Here is the beast in all it's glory:


One thing i noticed which has made me curious about is this white powder looking stuff next to the exhaust. Any idea what this could be? The sales guy had no idea, just said they will clean it up:

Hope your enjoying your new beast regards the white powder It could be where they have polished the exhaust tips & it's come off them, sometimes when I clean mine it blows some out that I've missed.

Any how, the white could be residual cutting compound where they have worked on some of the scratches for you.

Thanks for getting back guys! The only reason I ruled that out initially was because the day i saw the car it had the same residue. Anyway that aside i have been enjoying the car a lot. Still getting used to it, it's a big change from my zed 3.0 I sold a year ago.

Question for you again @leez4mr, I am curious about the front bumper area. In particular the area right in focus below:

Both left and right section is the same. Is this normal?? I have searched for quite some time but haven't come across another one like this. Just seems odd. Would love to hear your feedback @leez4mr. Thanks again in advance.
