Car ramps - Is a Z4 too low for them?

Hi all.

Does anyone use this style of car ramp with no issues catching the front spoiler driving up onto them?

I use similar ramps from Machine Mart with the added extension ramps that hook onto the main ramp , they are a bit flimsy so have packed them with wooden blocks underneath the extension ramps. I can use them for the front and rear of the car .

Does that mean the Z4 will catch if the extension ramps aren't used Pete?
 
You will need to make something like this to ease the gradient of the ramp:
I used some 2 x 4 timber at work and cut a wedge at one end and a v-groove to rest on the ramp rungs at the other. You can change the gradient by going up or down the rungs on the ramp slope. Works a treat !

That would've been my DIY extension, thx for the pic. 2x4 will do me as I some of that knocking about.

The ramps will be a god send once the weather turns a tad warmer as I need to do the CDV delete and an oil change once it's up in the air.

I wouldn't use ramps without any extension , if they are close on the way up and I didn't even try they will be closer on the way down as you ease the car down the ramp and the suspension dips as you brake .
 
I used to have a set just like those. Even using wood to flatten the angle the Zed wasn't going on them. Gave them to a neighbour.

I'm opting for this style now as they have more rungs and the incline is less progressive.
