Yes, my used Z4M when new in 2007 was about (xxxxxx) wanna guess? :headbang:

I would say also about 180k - but pounds, not dollars. I had a look at what a 35is would cost in Singapore recently and it was obscene (was doing it out of interest, can't remember the thread I posted it on)

Quite near guys.... 165000 pounds.... Mad right?

You know that a decent second hand one here is almost the same as that ? Just knock a zero off

That is funnily enough the site I found - $341,800 for a new 35is

I then went on a trawl of Singapore government sites to work out why it cost so much. Staggering. You lot must be rolling in money :D

Is Malaysia less harsh ? If I have a Z and we move there (in many years) I would seriously consider importing it.

Cars are not encouranged in Singapore because it is so small. They have always been very expensive - especially imports... Which trechically all cars are in Singapore. Not sure that there are any manufacturers manufacturing there :?

Malaysia tax new car imports very heavily - otherwise Proton would go bust. They don't have to pay the staggering amount of money required in Singapore just to have the bit of paper that says you can go buy a car. I am not sure how hard they tax used imported cars in Malaysia though.
