Car Park Ding - Repair Help.

Afternoon folks.
After parking in the local cinema car park last night I noticed this morning that the passenger side door has a ding in it. About the size of a penny piece if that.
Therefore are these dent repair companies such as Dent tech etc any good? And secondly can any body recommend one in the Stratford/Warwick/Leamington Spa area, if they are any good.

Many thanks

i have used denmaster in derby for my Z4... if the paint isnt cracked they can restore it as new for £40-£60 per dent.

You did not have much luck with your Z, did you :)

No :(

By far the most unlucky car i have ever owned... hit 3 times in the car park with no details left, near head on collision with a driver badly overtaking resulting in my front bumper hitting a rock = broken front bumper and 4 car park dings in 5 years :(

Still loved it though! :driving:

I have recently had a car park dent taken out of the drivers door of our Zed ,see my post re Ryebrook BMW in Warwick I also had the front bumper removed and re sprayed under warranty and a two year service , the dent disappeared there was no trace of it ,all the work was top notch could not fault it Paul Black the service manager there was very helpful , I fully recommend,

Local dealer did mine when it went for a service £65 - return to perfect condition. I think they use a local guy who does the rounds.

Thanks for the replies. Very much appreciated.
Unfortunately smart repair 4u can't help as they are looking for a new repair person at present.
Dent tech haven't replied to my voicemail yet, so will try Rybrook Warwick next although have yet to try aqua's recommendation of dent master.

sounds like you're not parking defensively enough, best to be absolutely anal about it and dont worry about what anyone else thinks or says, I will walk quarter of a mile if it means a safe parking spot.

Sadly i really was! I would always park in the end bays and if i had to go to a supermarket would be miles away at the back. Ironically no damage was supermarket related (i think!)

My side door, skirt scrape was done in a pub car park - the car was just waxed on a sunny day.. think i car misjudged driving into the bay next to it.. and sadly as i was so far at the back the CCTV didnt cover it!!

The door dings were the result of my gym i think.. narrow bays and nowhere else to park but between cars.

But door dings as annoying as they are are pretty cheap and easy to fix - the PDR leaves not sign - just leave the guy a couple of hours they come to you home/ office fix it and you pay.. so not the end of the world

Just a quick update. After making a few calls the other week I had a recommendation to use Dent Devils.
John from Dent Devils came out yesterday morning and did an excellent job  .
His usual clients are the local main dealers including Rybrook and JLR so he obviously has a good reputation.
Any way the car is back in tip top condition and I'm happy. :D

He must have done mine then at ryebrooks cannot fault his skill,

I'm getting my PDR session next week. And I am most concerned about door dings. As I was told they don's strip the door - which is actually a good thing. 'Cause in 1/3 of cases they will break your tweeter holder and/or they're gonna leave a spot in butyl tape and/or tear your door membrane. Anyhow they don't strip the door but they go in at the top of the door parallel with glass. And this worries me - can they stretch the upper door cavity? So the outer glass seal won't sit flush with the glass anymore.

Don't worry, the dent guy accessed my door from the glass slot & it's fine, they are doing this all day every day so they know what they're doing 8)
