Car not starting!

Could the issue be the ignition switch?

Notice that in the first 3 tries there is no warning light.

On the 4th try they come on when the key is turned and then the car starts.

This was a failure of the ignition switch which is not an uncommon issue with the various BMW models that use this switch.

All sorted now... needed some new spark plugs.. gave it a full service at the same time and she's running nicely now. The combi of old spark plugs and moving it in and out of the garage a few times over the weekend caused it.

Hey, I know more about forums than I do about cars... I thought the spark plug was the cigarette lighter! :?
