Having cleaned my car at the weekend my drivers floor mat now has a small hole, they have lasted 34k miles/4.5 years so have lasted well. There are loads of replacements online does anyone have any recommendations for websites to use?

34k doesn’t sound like a long life? You’re not driving in stilettos are you? :?

From experience the velour BMW mats are excellent value for money. The original beige mats in my E85 with 98k miles are still in excellent condition, and I can still buy them brand new for £60.

As above I would go with OEM mats. My guess is you will be disappointed with anything else. You can probably find them cheaper but this will give you some idea https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genuine-Tailored-Velour-Floor-Mats-Black-E89-Z4-51477222158-/191619514420

Check the breakers, i got a nearly new set for £40. They were 35is mats, the only one's i could find. Think they are quite rare.
And yes my mat became heel holed after 70k motoring.
But don't buy any with the extra rectangle of material in the wear area, had some in the past. Foot kept getting caught on it when using the accelerator.

No stilettos, car has done 67k miles from new, mats were in it when I got it

I have got original equipment rubber mats for my 3.5is. They are excellent. They fit really well and the design holds the dirt and grit on the mat. A quick wash down and they look like new. I bought mine from a Forum member who had sold his car. I believe they are only available new for left hand drive cars now. So as suggested in one of the other posts it would mean contacting breakers and (as I did) putting a wanted ad on the Forum. Good luck with your search. :D

34k barely used. OEM are quality items and well priced.

I tried to get some aftermarket mats trimmed to match my car colour with '35i' embroidered on them. All the manufacturers I asked told me they could not do the '35i' as it was considered a copyright issue!!!!

I’ve just ordered the diamond stitched ones you see all over Facebook. Got black stitch on black leather. Will upload some pics once they arrive. Where £83 delivered

Ever get these?

i tried a while back to get some made with '35i' embroidered into them. Apparently BMW have the copyright on it and no one will do it!!!!

When I purchased my E89 back in May there were no mats so I purchased some OEM ones and I have to admit they are very good quality and I am glad I did not go the aftermarket route on this occasion

Been after some rubber mats for my E89 and seeing as you cant get OEM ones anymore got these for Christmas - pleased with them so far - they are decent quality , dont smell and look good with the coloured stitching- which you customise to match your car or interior- Got them from carmats4u - have included a discount code if any one interested.
