Nothing more joyous than cycling home from work to find a wavy white line down the side of my Z.

Anyone on here recommend any shops in the Accrington area to contact?

I also go to the Wirral once a month roughly, so any around there too...

Hi Mr Wilks! Eventually got round to contacting Brian two weeks ago and arranged repair work. Collected today after two day's work: for £200 he's completely repaired the keying to the full length of my car, and damage to my driver's door that was present when I bought it. Absolutely flawless job - just wanted to say thank you for the recommendation! :thumbsup: :D
 
Happy days , can't fault him in any department other than you have to wait a few weeks usually for a slot in his schedule :wink: he's not one for squeezing jobs in & rushing cars out which definitely shows in his work :thumbsup:

Yeah when I arrived for the quote he was cleaning the underside of a Focus' bonnet seal - could tell from that he was one for the detail! From what I remember him saying, he sanded back the area, primer, then blended, then clear coated entire side. Did the same for inherited damage to the driver's door, except of course just focused to the door.

Got it booked in now at another place near Chester on Monday to get a gloss black roof wrap added :P :D

Out of interest, where near Chester you getting it done? And how much if you dont mind me asking. Tempted to get it done myself if the results are good :)
 
Got it done at APM Motorsport in Queensferry (same industrial estate as the go-karting if you know it). http://www.autopro-motorsport.co.uk/ Think it was £106 inc VAT, took him 45 minutes.

I really like the result. My rear windows were darkened when I bought, adds to the effect. But I'd rather have your //M with twin exhausts than tinted rears!! Swaps?

Next on my list is getting the wheels blasted and recoated darker, possibly black grille, and stubby!

Yep, do indeed know the karting track.
Looking good, may have to take a drive down there when i get my car sorted. Good price as well id say.
