Car & Key Memory Custom Configuration

Greetings!

Reading the various forum posts I have seen some things that can be programmed by the dealer on the E89.

What I remember is that on my E38 750iL there is a form provided by BMW that lists all of the Car/Key Memory custom configuration choices available on the vehicle.

The factory settings were underlined on the form.

Does anyone know if such a form (like I have for the E38) exists for the E89? :?

On a related note, I have seen a tool available on the internet called BMW KeyCoder http://www.autokeyprog.com/products.php?id=11. Do any members of the forum have knowledge and/or experience with this product?

Any help and/or assistance is greatly appreciated as I would like to know what the options are regarding the Car/Key Memory custom configuration choices so that I can inform my dealer prior to collection.

Don't know how they do things in the US but I didn't have that. Most settings can be set by the driver now. I had an E46 3 series and to get the doors to lock when driving away was a dealer mod, but now you can do it yourself.

Yes, we remember that form from our US spec X3. Most of those settings are user set now. It is in the owners manual.

If your going to have iDrive you can set most options for the differnt keys, windows drop on 2 clicks of unlock, 3 flash indicators.
