What do you mean exactly? Surely you just need a specific gauge of wire to carry the amperage you need... All cable can be used in a car with low voltage direct current. The more current the device draws (and distance), the thicker the cable.
Ive gutted a few cars and it ranges all the way from 2awg on the battery spinal cable and starter, ~20 on various other motors to 30awg on the leds and button relays! The only similarity they have is they are multi-core to prevent snapping under flex and vibration.
