Well tonight was the night.

My new Z4 3.0 is on my drive and I love it already.

Have only had to drive 17 miles home but I enjoyed every moment and it just feels great.

Updated the nav already on the drive and have figured out it has a DICE Silverline unit installed for my iPhone which I didn't realise!

Alarm went off earlier but I just wonder if it was a cat jumping on the roof or something - has been locked for about 30 mins now and hasn't gone off yet, so fingers crossed its all ok.

Pics soon :)

Ahh ok - will check it's working correctly at the weekend and just lock with the key if it goes off again

Get some pics up soon ,picked up my 3.0si Sunday 70 mile drive home but ended up doing 200 :grin: love the sound of that big 6 will be doing the sound generator mod this weekend for more noise

Alright alright, I'll take some with it being filthy dirty at lunchtime - it was raining here all day yesterday!!

Besides, I've been doing minor jobs on it too - list so far;

Sorted non-opening flap over cig lighter (1p piece)
Updated nav firmware and maps
Investigating alarm issues (have wd40'd the bonnet switch but no joy, so ordering a new one)
Sorting wipers so they stopped juddering
TRYING to figure out the dension gateway that it has fitted and why it persists in switching back to it when I select navigation!!!

Not to mention a full dettol wipe down inside!

Still cant believe how good it is on fuel (30+ in general driving) and how good it makes me feel to drive too :driving:

Yes !!!! Finally managed to sort out the iPod interface so it doesn't constantly interfere with the satnav.

Just needed the text location changing to be for the nav, rather than for non-nav. Easy when you know how.

That now means I can listen to web radio to my hearts content - Kiss and non-stopdanceradio here we come :)

Ok - pics!! Even the sun came out but didnt get a chance to wash first :(

Indeed - got the Meggs in the garage waiting for a nice day. I have a mate who has one too so I think a double Meggs day is in order!

Well today was the first drive with the roof down. A pitifully short journey to a local supermarket at lunch but still, sun was out and boy it felt great to be back out in the open again.

It's really starting to feel like mine now, I'm slowly getting things fixed and sorted on it, the weekend will see a load more done.

Fitted stubby tonight :evil:

Job tally is increasing;

Visit Sopers in Lincoln to collect parts then

Fit new rear led brake light
Fit cruise control
Fit new bonnet alarm switch
Fit new wipers
Fix wiper motor
Fit cup holders
Fit ZHP knob
Remove CDV

That should keep my busy!!
