Yes you can charge up in the house before you use it Mate
Perfect, thank you. I might look at investing in one of these to make the job a little easier

I have got a Mobi V17 http://www.wiggle.co.uk/mobi-v-17-portable-bike-pressure-washer/ that I can sell (slightly different colour) - had the same problem when living in a flat and it did work well. Don't need it since I moved to a house and I live in Basingstoke so not too far. PM if you're interested

If your only a floor up you and nobody can see it you could always have a plumber fit an outside tap within reach of a window. Then you can plug a hose on, drop it down to the car and away you go.

Will look ridiculous if it’s on show for the world to see and wouldn’t work if your space is miles away

Thank you for all the replies. Unfortunately I am on the second floor so dropping a hose out the window isn't really viable (although I did consider it!).

I took the plunge and went for a Mobi V17. I'm hoping it'll arrive before the weekend so I can enjoy my bank holiday weekend giving her a good wash. @tadekk, shame I was so impatient, but good to hear another positive review!

Welcome to the board. Whatever else you do. Don't lets the hand wash gypsies anywhere near you pride and joy.

Amen to that!

You think it looks ok until the first sunny day then the swirls and swishes become apparent - I paid an extra £850 for Tanzanite and paint protection on our 335 and it now needs money spending on it to correct the mess!

I was going to ask, isn’t there anybody on the ground floor you could ask for a water supply on an Ad Hoc basis?
Even if the water is metered I’m sure you could work out what you’ve used and pay plus a nice bottle of Scottish malty spirit!

Being a rented property, I'd need the landlords permission too.

I've received my Mobi V17, first impressions are very good. Looking forward to giving it a go over the weekend and seeing if the 17L water tank is enough for the whole job. If it isn't, I'll buy a 3rd bucket to refill the tank half way through

Just wanted to report back after owning the Mobi V17 for a few months in case anyone else reading this is facing the same problem I was.

The product works great and the 17L water tank is enough for a complete wash. You can easily rinse off the car, wash sections and rinse off with no concern. I often rinse off the part I have just cleaned and the rest of the car too just to keep it all nice and wet. Only a couple of times when it has been very sunny have I just run out at the end of the wash (just before doing the wheels or any other rinses such as after a clay), but I simply carried the tank up to the flat, refilled it and carried on.

I am sure there are other products out there that would do the job just as well. So as a summary, the 17L tank seems enough for an E89 and the battery inside the Mobi can manage at least 2 full washes (maybe more).
