2x Grit Guard (purchased)
1x Wax That Harly stuff, i got some from amazon (purchased)

?? Karcher K4 Pressure Washer ??
?? Snow Foam ??
?? Pre Wash De Greaser/ Waxer ??
?? Polisher ??

Please help and ill update the thread, tell me your Detailing / Car Washing LOADOUT!

Polisher should be a DA & not a rotary unless you’re an expert, lambswool mitt, claybar or clay mitt

I’m lazy.

I take it to the local hand wash, they use 2 buckets with a grit guard. Snow foam first, then they Jet wash, hand wash, then they rinse it and dry it off. They do the wheels by hand and dress the tyres with tyre gel...Costs me a fiver. :D

If it’s good enough for this lambo whom I see every week there, it’s good enough for me.

Then I go home and wax it.

Some Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner brilliant stuff for the alloys, I have a Karcher 4 and I love it (tho there is a thread on pressure washers), buy good micofibre cloths not the cheap ones, and what you have mentioned is just for the outside :D

I’ll clean the bike all day, but the car I’m lazy with. I like the interior mint though, so I’ll spend an hour a week on that...... the guys down the car wash do as good as me, and they jet wash the inner arches too... and you get a free air freshener when they’ve done. Happy days indeed :D

Bilt Hamber stuff is good.
Ive bought all sorts of products over the last 5ish years. BH is my default choice now, shampoo, snowfoam, wheel cleaner, fallout remover, polish wax ( which seems to always win big group tests) and detail spray.
Poor boys interior cleaner and wheels sealant are worth buying as well imo.

Get some decent microfiber cloths, avoid the cheap ones.

These microfibres are superb.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fluffy-Detailing-Valeting-Microfibre-Edgeless/dp/7392451650/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1522312783&sr=8-1&keywords=korean+microfibre&dpID=51rXLazBcML&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

get my mate the detailer at my local Porsche centre to do mine twice a year.
then I just wash it and use detailing spray to keep it topped up.
jobs a good un.

Yeh, they are very good quality, completely edge-less and no labels. Very nice and plush. They are my go to cloth for anything glaze, wax, QD related. Amazing value too (which I learned after spending almost 4 times that amount on other inferior microfibres).

Just bought some Bilberry and C2v2 from them on Tuesday and it arrived yesterday. Also highly recommended.

I buy my microfibre cloths from Costco. They work out about 50p per cloth and they're good for car and house stuff. Been using them for years and I wouldn't bother buying any others.
