Wondering if anyone is a member or used Car city club or Zipcar before? What's your experience been? I'm strongly thinking about it as sometimes I need..umm a more *whispers* (practical) car. Really need one for next week.
Normally I would be tempted to hire a car just for a day etc but still being under 25 makes it annoying expensive, although I think city car has extra charges for young drivers too but it would work out better over a long term I think? The only thing nagging my mind is if they try to pin some damage on you, as presumably no-one checks each car (and it's not in a garage) before the next person books it??
Or does anyone have any other ideas for cheaply acquiring a temporary medium size car?
