i dont want to get rid of the z but the other half will not get in it as it hurts her underlying hip problem. this means i have to spend most of my time in a dangerous uncomfortable probably un-roadworthy pug 106 (p reg)
i think its a combination of the lowness, seat shape and ride (3.0 SE on 108s and non runflats) so what car can i change to that is quick and affordable.
my criteria is pretty steep, i dont want to end up in boring family hum drum as you might as well fold up and die that drive a mazda3 or an astra
Fuel/tax is an issue, it has to be as good as the z. i know poeple say you shouldn't buy a car you cant run or you shouldnt buy on fuel alone and all that type of s**t but its an issue as im not minted so i consider all of this. tax wise we already seem to pay a s**t load so less would be nice.
cost needs to be not too far from value of the Z (04 3.0se) lets say 10K ill probably personal loan it over 3 yrs anyway.
i want it to be quick like the Z. and handle well. i dont really care about rwd but its nice. it needs to have all the same toys as i have now so cruise/nav/leather/heated seats/decent stereo etc
im not convinced by anything too big like a 5 series although a 530d might make a nice cruiser. its just me her and the cat so i dont need big.
i was thinking of a 330d or maybe a 123d or something. im about to loose my job so this is a long term plan as i expect to end up having to drive more to work than i do now so maybe an oil burner would be a good idea?
