Car Alarm goes off randomly

unplug it under the bonnet and see if it still happens. otherwise, is your battery ok.

Usually bonnet switch. Disconnect it and see if that stops giving false alarms.

I got a new bonnet switch. Asked the garage to replace it doubt they did though as there was no mention of it on paperwork or on the bill.

Got a new battery at the same time. Solved it for me.

Bonnet switch, we had the issue and this solved it

Thanks, whereabouts is the bonnet switch located?

Lift bonnet. Look towards windscreen. Located near bulkhead just off centre, slightly towards left side. Unplug the little black box, drop bonnet and try alarm again.
