I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure licensed dealers have access to software that populates car adverts using vin-decoded info. Very unlikely they're going to have sales or even an office junior sit there and type out each and every advert. Older software had the tick-box format like you mentioned - all this from a friend a few years ago who worked at car auctions.

Best ad I saw last year when I was looking for my Z was from a private dealer and the ad simply said "blue" real useful. Supposes it stops anyone claiming they mis-sold/mis-described the car!

I had the opposite experience this weekend.

I went to look at an E90 330i today, and although the private advert mentioned the Bi-Xenons and the DAB radio, it didn't mention the electric tilt/slide sunroof or the auto-fold mirrors! Happy days - left a deposit. :lol:
