Any performance car ad that proudly announces that it was originally a 'press car'

This just means that it was redlined from day 1 and has had the bollox thrashed off it by every tosspot who could claim to be a motoring writer.... and Jeremy Clarkson

Translation - the hood motor is fucked, if you buy this car there is a guaranteed £700 bill in your future.
 
The words "highly modified" when the modifications are a K&N filter, a bunch of stickers and a set of Max Power seatbelt pads :-D

The ones with incredibly low mileage "only 10.000 miles" but at the end of a very long description it also says "new engine", which basically means either the current owner managed to blow the engine to bits or the car drove around the earth... twice.
