Canvassing opinions...

I've decided I need some nice new wheels to replace my tired looking 108's.... I've got it narrowed down to two options, both 18" but different widths and offsets although I'm told they both fit without issues. I'm also trying to save unsprung weight as a bonus.
They are
Cade's Tora, either silver or Matt gunmetal 18" x 8" et35 front with 9"et40

Zito 935, either gunmetal or black with polished face 18" x 8.5" et35 or et45 front and 18" x 9.5" et35 or et45

Does anyone have an opinion or experience of either of these wheels and which would you go for and why?

Cheers!

I'd go for the top ones... just because I'm not really a csl fan, the top wheel is a very nice looking wheel too

I think I'm leaning that way too, it's a bit different but will still compliment the car. What colour would you for?

First option.. not that I'm biased about that style of wheel or anything:

I like both, but wonder if the top set need to be 19" to not look a little lost on a Zed?

I've run a set like the 935s - here's a pic.

Another vote for the 935s - they just look like they were made for the job - the others look flimsy and trying to hard to be stylish !

Yes I know what you mean about the Tora's looking lost which is why I think silver might be the better option.
Yours are very similar to the 935's finish wise and seeing them on a silver car makes me think they look a bit too delicate if you know what I mean!? It's just personal taste but thanks for posting the pic, it's definitely helped me decide on finish at least!

Not keen on the Tora's  sorry jmo & the others have been done sooooo many times
Wildcard ? How about these Stuttgart St9s

Has there been any horror stories of aftermarket wheels cracking like the "top price - top quality " BMW supplied kit ?

I don't consider the majority of aftermarket wheels to be any inferior or superior to OEM however at the lower end of the scale there are many cheapo "reps" that are pretty poor quality  avoid those no name alloys & you should be fine .
If you consider the number sold & in use on this forum alone i can't ever recall any horror stories from using non OEM alloys

See those wheels on my car they have been rated for "light tarmac rally" use.

The ST9 is really nice but not available in 18, I had a look at them in my local wheel shop, definitely 19 only

You sure ? Was looking for a set for our C Class through bmautosport & they quoted me for 18s :?

Well that's what I was told, but just had a look online and they can be had in 18"! Unfortunately they don't seem to fit the z4?? That's what LK Performance is saying anyway...
