Just thought I would throw this out to anyone b4 I head to the dealer for service on Tuesday. I bought an iphone 2day and went to pair it with my 06' w/ bmw assist and sos... turned key to pos. 1 and pushed r/t button and activate phone popped on screen (bmw bus. no nav/sat.) turned on bluetooth on iphone and found my car and then prompted me for pin....entered 4 digit pk and told me it was invalid..any ideas? :headbang:

Pin is printed on a label on the side of the ULF module if you care to go digging for it. If not the dealer can hook up the car and find it.

As another thought for once you are paired you may still have some problems getting full connectivity and functionality. I've just done a lot of research and retrofitted bluetooth on my X5 and have seen an article on another site where a 1 year old ULF was for sale, since only the very latest will fully connect to an ipod.

thx cj ... just want the bluetooth to work cuz its there, i'm figuring top down at highway speeds it will be pretty much useless and also planning an audio aux. install so i cah use the ipod feature of the iphone through my speakers without using those pos fm transmitters

Sure won't be good audio on the phone at 70 with the hood down. :)

I agree re the idea of if it's there make it work
