Can't stop grinning....

Last month I changed my worn rears to Vredestein Sessantas and it made a big difference to overall handling.....

.... this morning I changed the fronts too. No more RFTs...

All I can say is WOW! I cant stop grinning. The confidence I now have when committing to a corner driving with a little more punch than a usual trip is amazing. The grip is off the scale and the ride is much much quieter to the point where I shifted down to early a couple of times early on. The ride is so much smoother too.

Very Happy. I cant believe anyone would want run flats - all people do is moan about them. Cost, hard to change, hard ride etc etc...

£462 well spent! :D :) :P :o :P :) :D

 It really is night and day.
Enjoy the new handling.

I am still waiting to experience the difference and can't wait. I already have bought a set of summer tires and will be ditching the run flats once we eventually get some better weather

I changed to VREDS from runflats a year ago and have done 11k miles (after 11k milesthe tread i have left - 5mm on rear and 6mm on front )
they have been great even in all this snow we've been having, also did 3800 miles to Croatia and back through the Alps and doing 130mph on the auto bahns and round the Nurburg ring,
I wouldnt buy any thing else
Unless i won the lottery

You'll be amazed at the difference Swiftly. Like a different car.

First thing after a stubby was to change the RFT's for goodyear Eagle F1's.... Saved weight, comfort and overall performance, sodding RFTs!

Would NEVER EVER EVER EVER go back to RFTs :)
Had my rears swapped for Falken FK453s last week. Got cheapy no-name non-RFTs on the front but the car still feels amazing to drive now.

I must be weird.

I actually like my runflats, honestly I don't have any problems with them at all apart from the cost, but then I'm anal about regularly checking tyre pressures so maybe that makes a difference.
Though saying that when this set gets threadbare I'll probably go with normal tyres and probably turn to Jesus to forgive my sins and might even start to like my Mother-in-law...no not in that way

Can anyone tell me with the non run flats on the front does the steering feel noticeably a lot softer , less positive .Obviously it will never be as direct & positive as a run flat with a steel side wall , but is it really noticeable. I am aware it will make a difference make / quality / stiffness of side wall etc . Experiences please .

M Zeds did not have run flats, as the M division deemed them unacceptable at the time. I'd take their research at face value.
