Can't open compartment

Hi all

I've just bought my first z4 and am very pleased with it.

One slight issue is that, to the left of the driver's seat there are two compartments, one large one housing the CD changer and a small one above it, the latter of which I cannot open. Two questions: a) should it open, and b) if so, what's in there?

I think the bit your talking about shouldn't open not sure whats in there something to do with the roof i think???
 
Thanks, MM. That's what the guy who sold it to me said. It just seems odd as it has a release button like the larger compartment, but it doesn't want to budge so you must be right.

That phantom button is for the roof with models without electric roof. For electric roof zeds it does nothing :-)
