cant make or receive calls on Bluetooth

As above, phone rings in car bit can't hear calls or people can't hear me when I phone out. Any ideas?

Same here. Paired ok but doesnt function at all. (Android)
Worked with my old iphone 4s however.

Bloody strange. I hope someone comes along with an answer. Crazy as I have all my contacts, rings in car and connects on outgoing but no sound either way.
 
Managed to find an old O2 XDA in my bits drawer which fired up OK. Managed to pair it with the car which tells me the Bluetooth kit is working fine - now it's just a question of trying to get it to pair to an iPhone &.

Is a firmware upgrade required or maybe a later generation Bluetooth control unit - what do you think?

I expect you have tried this, apologies if you have, but have you deleted the phone from the car and paired it again

Nope. But I will do in morning. Strange,as all contacts etc are there. But thanks worth a try. Do you mean previous phones as,well?

From memory you can’t delete one, just all. Not a bad thing though. Car will pair with max 5 phones at one time. Not all the same time of course though.
 
I have a similar problem my android pairs with the car no problem but no sound is transmitted either way, cant hear music and cant hear calls.

The way I resolved this was to hold down the make call button (wee face with the bars coming out of it) this should trigger the google assistant to listen for your command on your phone, once you cancel this the phone is connected and you should be able to hear as normal. Very very strange but it works for me :thumbsup:
