It's interesting, seeing the two cars side by side, in the same colour, really shows how similar they look from the front. Nice setup. But yes, lets have some clearer skies!
Now I'll put my flak jacket on here, but I reckon they spoilt the looks of the roadster when they put the hard top on it - the rear looks nowhere near as nice as the softtops. And actually I prefer the old from end design too - more understated, and in balance with the car.

Now they are both great cars, but when I see them back to back I'm suprised how much the older model has aged in looks compaird to the E89! I think BMW did a good upgrade. Kept the esence but made it more modern/agressive!
Agree, sort of, on the rear of the E89. That's one area I wasn't sure about when I was looking to buy. Used to it now though. 8)

I agree, I always like to look at things from the rear end before I ride them
