Can't get the top off the bottle mum!

OK, so I wanted to fill in a little hole in the driver side door rubber today and intended to use a ikkle bit of my Permatex formagasket3 which is brilliant stuff! But could I get the top off? could I buggery! I can't remember how I got it off last time but it aint budging. It's obviously idiot/child/tamper-proof - the top spins freely along with a clear coloured plastic secondary top which has two tabs, one either side. tried turning the red and clear tops against each other but that aint working either.
Anyone got a bottle of this? know how to open the bastid? it's drivin me potty/

Pouring boiling water over the stuck item can help break the seal sometimes, I see you have beaten it though

Think i'm gonna use permatex#1 tho. 3's good for moving/vibrating surfces but 1 should do for a hole in the door rubber....

Are you sure it's not a hole that's supposed to be there? I'm sure my zeds have featured one on the lower section by the sill :?

nah it was there when i bought it as a small tear. and i've subsequently made it bigger with me big size 12's.
