Hello, i have tried hundreds of times now to get my central ventilator out because im going to plug in a aux cable in the radio. And ive read 10 guides on internet and i still dont manage to do it. There should be some clips that are holding the ventilator but mine does have any? Can somebody help me before i burn the s**t down? :headbang: :fuelfire:

drop the vents about 45 degrees and put your head near the gearstick looking up through the slats into the small square holes a little into the top surface of the vent assembly.... You cant see the clips very well...but they will be in there!

Get a small screwdriver and put in the hole pointing as 45 degrees towards the side windows and wiggle around till you feel an edge, then carefully push it down. It took ages to get it right the first time.... but now its dead straightforward..

Once you get it the first time yor sorted.

Thank you for your help, i appreciated it, gonna try it later!

If someone got more ideas please tell me, maybe more people have trouble with this insane vent :fightwall:

There is always the petach method, but I'm guessing you've proabably being trying that already.

I found two dinner knifes worked better than screwdrivers as they are flatter. Held in a V formation to get both clips at the same time whilst leaving one hand free to pull the vent.

What is "the petach method"? Please exlpain :?

FINALLY GOT IT OFF!! You need to take the screwdriver/paper clip/knife and hook the clip from the side!! CASE CLOSED! :yeah:

What aux cable you get and where from? I brought one and fitted but mine produces a poor quality sound with a like hissing interference :-(
