Can't fit new CCV

Replacing the CCV - I went for the "cold climate" kit.

I've got it all out but I can't get the new one in - the guide I followed said to put the top hose in first but that stops the valve from going in at all.

Any tips? I went for brute force and broke it in the end!

Did mine with the cold climate kit and it was a pig of a job.
I ended up loosening the inlet manifold to get more wiggle space and that helped a lot.

That's not a bad idea. I've basically removed everything else so it's just the nuts holding it on I guess.

Yeah but make sure mating surfaces are CLEAN before fitting it back.

I removed the inlet manifold etc when I replaced my CCV. It gives a lot more access and makes life a lot easier  20170417_154919.jpg
