Great use for a recently accessed pension pot ! Mine has gone tits up and they say they will pay out 20 pence in the pound !, can't believe that this isn't protected by some government scheme, when the Icelandic banks went through, British investors were compensated by the government . Never quite understood that when the government were being done out of tax and interest income by the investors hoping to make a fast buck overseas !!! Ps enjoy the new brace of motors , your weekends are going to be family bonding car polishing times,.. Epic

wow

regards

So, you've bought an 18 year old an M3 for University....I find that a bit strange, does he even need it, giving a teenager a high performance car doesn't make sense to me? What's the insurance cost on that...more than the car?

Angelus... Not that it matters, but my son saved his money his entire life to be able to buy a cool car on his 16th birthday. So he bought a 2009 cadillac cts 3.6l and made it look like a cts-v. So technically most of the money used for the M3 was his money. He also received a full-ride to play football, and if that wouldn't have worked out he would have received a Scholastic full-ride for his academic achievements. So, after accomplishing all that, his mother and I decided to get him something special. No, he doesn't need it... but he deserves it! However, next time we decide to do something for him, I'll make sure I check with you to see if it's strange or not.

Ah you are stateside...now it makes sense. That just doesnt happen in Europe. You have more space and less corners to kill yourself so I expect it will be fine! In Europe we have much more density of cars and traffic and the idea of giving an 18 year old an M3 just seems dangerous(which it is here!)

Great cars, the m3 looks very tidy indeed
