2004 canopy not working. It is the hydrolic system, most likely the electric motor but could be the pump also. Called a shop that specializes in BMW. They said 6.5 hours labor. $3,000! Yikes. I know the pump/motor assembly is $800. So, $3,000 -$1000 for the pump/motor and misc parts=$2,000 labor. But how can that be? $2,000/6.5=$307 per hour labor. I know their shop rate in "only" $110/hour. Are they adding in struts?
