Sounds like a good idea to me. I'm equipping my Z4MC with winter tires. There is no way I am going to let it sit in the garage for months. :)

I'm near London, Ontario.

-10 C and snow today - I think mine will be going into storage soon.....might get to drive it a day or two next week (I hope!).

Cheers, Al

Eeeekkkk, that's a bit cold :o

Yep - I actually had to put a light jacket on this morning.

The coldest i've remembered here in the UK was -10c , rain is what we get here.........and lots of it!

I've had -23C in Scotland before, that was unbelievable, it lasted for a couple of days. I delayed coming back by one day due to the whole car being frozen, and the next day driving back South I turned the heater on full blast when I got in the car and never turned it down again until I'd driven 80 miles

Washer jets freeze up and there is so much salt on the roads I was needing to stop every couple of miles to wash down the screen.

The coldest I've had in Québec was -45C in the Laurentians about 100 km from Montréal. In Montréal itself, it dips to below -20C for days in January and February. And since Montréal is surrounding by water the humid air makes it bone crushing cold.

It hit -30 something briefly when I lived in Ottawa but it's really not as bad as it sounds. Once its below -10 its just 'bloody cold'...Montreal was worse as it was more humid so despite being 'warmer', felt colder. They have all the gear, the roads are cleared and they just get on with it...it's nice when summer rolls around though!

:)

Canadians.....isn't that something we eat?

No, it's something you drink...as in Molson Canadian beer! As for eating a Canadian such as myself, the answer is yes...but only for the female gender!

Coldest I can recall here is -35 C. That was back in the early 90's and it went on for a couple of weeks. The wind chill made it feel like -45 C! Typically we can hit -25 C each winter at least once, and then +35 C in the summer, so a good 60 degree swing.

Where I live there's humidity all year round, and in the winter it makes the cold go right through you. In the summer it's like a sauna.....I love that!

The bacon variety yes. What is Canadian bacon anyway?
Slab of cured Pork covered in cornmeal. I've never understood its appeal. Not bad as a roast - I prefer traditional side bacon myself.
