Hmmm... I'm married and I bought an M. Wifey was supportive. I'm sure enfield will be able to find a good group of women that is just as supportive. :D
Yes, there are a few good women out there for car nuts. I'm married and my wife has always supported me in my obsession with cars......
support? or Endure & use to her advantage? :fuelfire:

Support AND even sharing my enjoyment of the car community most of the time- We routinely go to shows and to meets/on drives together, I'm sure at least one of our kids has my car affliction..... 8)

You're a lucky man
For my wife, a car is purely an A to B conveyance.
She does enjoy the travel & social aspects though. :)

until she found out the reality of it.

maybe it's because i just got my car in the fall; but, i have all intentions of keeping this car. i haven't been this giddy about a car since i was 18 and i got my MGB running for the first time (2 years to restore to a student's runable condition). money's spent and i like it. no regrets. BTW, still have the MG, 25 years now.

wrh3, how many minutes quicker (0-60) is the 335i compared to your Z4M :poke:
Is that with, or without PROcede?
 That's funny.

I reckon wrh3 has the most supportive wife here. My wife is supportive, but wishes the M was more supportive (she finds it a really rough ride). :)

That was/is my original intention as well.
I kept my 914/6 for ~ 25yrs as well.
..we'll see

Knew I should have kept that 1967 MGB-GT :(
Did they have things sorted by '67?
.....or did they still spend 50% of their road miles on a tow hook? :fuelfire: :poke:

Mine never got towed, but I was working and spending on it as often as driving it

My brother had a TR3, sister in law had a MGA, & my sister had a B'ser (not the coupe).
- so very familiar with the (finicky) British imports at the time. :D

Well my wife spends more time driving the Z4MC than I do. She's very happy that we chopped in the TVR for it (she couldn't reach the pedals on the TVR).

It's all relative, do a few all day mountain trips in a Lotus and she'll love the M ;)

Lease residuals here are based on a percent of MSRP, regardless what you negotiate up front.
On mine the MSRP was in the $72K range.
$70,000 ($68,900 + BlueTooth Assist $1,100) - We was "Jacked Up"!

New list in the UK is £42,000....plus options like Nav, Bluetooth, etc. $100,000 CAD by the time you have finished adding toys EASY. Similar price issues on this model over here too (though the phenomenon is unique to M Coupes it seems -Z3 and Z4 - as they are fairly niche) and discounts to be had on new cars....though values really seem to be firming up now. Those who ordered in the very early days will have taken a hit, but now is a good time to buy a 1 year old one.

I believe you guys can now lease one in the USA for $559 a month? Which is a steal. Mine costs double that.

M Coupe ($559 per month, $3659 down)
M Roadster ($579 per month, $3679 down)

Thta's my plan as well - this will be the car that I pull out on sunny days when I'm retired.
