Canada's olympic achievement

I'm utterly knackered this morning as I stayed through at my folks to watch the match until the end. Having to survive on minimal sleep today, but worth it - good game and IMO an excellent result :)

My sister's in Vancouver and says the place was just mental last night!

Great hockey result and watched it right through and imho as a neutral, the correct one.

Great tally of medals compared to the UK's '1' Still as I heard recently we assume if it's snowing outside them the games must be off...
Most medals ever - Am I surprised given there are ever more events to compete in? Seems inevitable that such records will be broken.

I was not all that pleased with the result... :(
but it was an excellent match...
Sorry, I should be a neutral  but have a few Canadian mates who ensure that I'm not allowed to be :D

It was a great game and congratulations to the Canadians are well in order.... :winner:

WLH, the two teams are probably the most evenly matched that two teams can be, all hand picks from the NHL, pretty much a coin toss to see who wins most of the time. I think the edge may have come from behind the bench. Sorry we had to win but someone had to... :P

Gotta love all those happy athletes with all that metal hanging round their necks...wahoo... :D :D :D (not just the overpaid hockey players)
