Glad you liked the conversion. IT was one of those 'got to be worth a try' projects. All you need to do now is to find a spare German light with a search such as:

Bmw Z4 Rückleuchten

Here's one for instance for E15

Sorry guys I didnt explain myself properly, one of those posts when you know what you mean but no one else does  I already purchased a set of european lights, yesterday actually from flea bay £15! So hopefully I will cut out the clear lense to transport to the new lights that I am now seeking pictured below

Have the above been dis-continued by BMW as I believe they where for sale as part of a clear upgrade! Cheers for that ebay link anyway CJ

Mate its a lot easier to find the all clear set and spray them.. mine look just like the colour above

All depends if you want to spray the lens or have a perfect OEM set of self coloured lenses. Either will look fine if the work is done well.

Thought about buying a clear set then spraying but prefer the oem look, I may balls them up but Im willing to give this DIY job a go :)

I have used the tinting spray (to a for a different idea) and it's very easy to use, the finish is spot on as well. Until its lacquered you can easily remove with acetone. That said, if I was doing this I may well find myself doing it the same way as CJ, but not because I think the result with demonstrably better, but just because I'm probably similarly afflicted :|
