Can you put wheel bolts on that are 'too' long?

Just fitting these new wheels. The offsets are different so I don't need my spacers on the rear. Thing is I bought 40mm (thread length) wheel bolts to go with the spacers. (standard was 25mm) So these wheel bolts will go inside the hub an extra 15mm. Is that going to be a problem?

guess it depends if you have 155 space behind the hub :poke:

No idea myself... but i personally wouldnt do it.

Make sure the bolts don't bottom out in hub before fully securing wheel If you need to use them .They could be cut to length if there is an issue.

What wrong with just using your standard bolts?

I'm being a tart thats why :D Basically my OEM bolts are black, the longer ones are silver and look better

To be on the safe side I've put the OEM 25mm thread bolts on the back - for now at least
