Can you find anything faster for the Money.

I would be tempted to come with for a look

Not a huge fan of the interior. But a few changes and it would be perfect

I was in Basingstoke yesterday so it's a good job I didn't see this beforehand! I don't think I'm a competent enough mechanic to own something as specialist as this unfortunately. Would be good to go and have a poke around though.

Yeah i would love one. But its nice to know the zed will probably start and almost certainly get you where you want to go.

Your bloody right Lux i am struggling to find £500 for the machines at the moment. Just spent the last of my cash on roof tiles

How about this - 680bhp 7.2 litre.

That's a fantastic machine.

Basicaly that would go as fast as your b#lls allow.

Been in company with a couple over the years. Never seen one pushed on the road, probably for the reason above.

Lots more leg room in the Nob though. Important for us lanky types.

I was really close to selling up my Griff and my Elise and going for a Noble. GReat drive and performance. The lack of support and the reputation for bits breaking put me off as it would have been my only car. Quite glad now as I still have the Griff, which still turns heads and drive sgreat (he says having not seen it for 6 weeks!) and now I have the Z4 for the other days (which now hasn't moved since the 28th of December.....)

I love nobles aswell, very rare & offer an excellent power to weight ratio plus I have a soft spot for them as I have owned two V6 Mondeos...just a shame my fords didn't have turbos bolted to their engines!

I would suggest this would give it a run for its money leaving enough spare change for a mint z4m for everyday driving.

Cant argue with that!

What is the 0-60 on these?

Must be similar

This is the description from the manufacturers website of what I'd put up against the Noble and what is high on my list for IMMies replacement, when it finally comes to it.

"Zero to 60mph in 2.7 seconds, 0-100mph in 6.8 seconds. Up to 600bhp per tonne. Astounding figures. Quicker than a Ferrari Enzo, more lateral G than a Porsche GT3. Giant killing performance for a fraction of the price. This is race car territory, but obtainable, affordable."

Also English made. Can you guess what it is?

Sounds like the Nobel. :D

Ok, so reading through some astonishing finds. But what could defeat a well driven Noble M12 3R with 500 bhp.

Nissan GTR Nismo fast a practical.

Caterthing 500 , 620 & Atom. Sooo fast and sooo much fun, I'm told, But as you probably know I can't fit in one, so always discount them on grounds of pure jealousy. :P

Evo 400 simply not as fast as the Nob. Evo with 600bhp. OMG if you can afford the regular engine rebuilds & like to drive sideways. Plus can except that a well driven micra is going to leave you for dead, at the lights, them it's a bargain. (Till it explodes)

Sports Bike very cunning, but first drop of rain and your dead.

Have I mist anything?

Ahh yes the 7.2 ltr 680bhp feather weight, Ultima GTR.

You got me there, if I had £35000 to blow right now, I'd be up there having a test drive. What a machine and currently the one to beat. 8) :driving:

Any more takers?

Aerial Atom 300. The Atom 500 would obliterate it but not in the price band of £35k

Stu did you know there is a place that offers drives in an Ariel Atom on track not that far from you? Or at least I think it's not far (Great Tew, Oxfordshire, near Chipping Norton). More details at www.trackdays.co.uk. It's where I did my GT3 experience. The Atom was insane. Quickest car they had, followed by the GT3 (996) which was quicker than their Gallardo, 360 Modena, Aston Vantage, & R8. It was about £90 so quite reasonable.

That had to be a fun day. :driving:
