Can you buy this knob separately?

Hi all,

I'd like to fit one of these gear knobs, but it looks like you can only buy it as a set with the gaiter and frame? Or am I wrong?

You can buy a very nice weighted replica on eBay identical to that I know cuz I did for around 30 quid, 5/6 speed with or Without in my case the M

It seems that the gearknob in the picture only comes from BMW in one assembly (including gaiter), but, that is why I ask the question. The eBay on looks actually pretty good. I'll let 'Warrior' confirm.

Does anyone know where I can get a weighted five speed for my e85 without an M logo in the middle?! It seems all I can find are M badged six speed knobs! Sorry for jumping in on your post OP!

it is good, I'm very happy with mine, it has nice feel to it. While on the subject of genuine. Bear in mind BMW dont make gearknobs, they buy them in and double the price .
But I will show you my knob at the zedfest....

When you say seen, define seen. I can only go on what I have bought and own.

The listings don't mention the zeds for fitting but it's the same push on fitting for almost all modern beemers since 2000 I think, and even the universal ones will fit it as they lock down with grub screws onto the gearstick shaft, the only type that wont fit is the old threaded screw on type.
