Looking to buy 2nd hand red seats but it has really bad scuff on drivers bolster. Can this be repaired using leather touch-up or is it too bad to repair it?

Please let me know your thoughts.

I wouldn’t call that really bad, I’ve seen far worse repaired. Half the battle’s using the right kit to do it, furniture clinic seem to be highly rated.

+1 for furniture clinic. I've used their leather cleaner and conditioner products and they're first rate. Also do video tutorials.

Repair kit at £23.95

You can search ‘coral red’ on ebay and purchase a touch up stick for around £6

Clean the area with a magic eraser, (super mild abrasive) then apply paint in layers, leaving a good few hours between each application. (I smoothed the paint with a damp cloth)

Then once the final paint is applied you need to leave it for 24 hours.

I would also recommend furniture clinic, used both fox red novillo and dakota black to great success. I believe they are/were BMW's oem choice for leather repairs too.

I had the entire leather interior (seats, steering wheel, arm rest...) in my e89 touched up by automotive interior specialist for £100
