Can this be replaced

Hi, i noticed that the paint work on the small panel that holds my ROOF / DSG / RUN FLAT buttons seems to peeling away, i first thought it was a bit of dirt but when i scrapped it with my nail i noticed that it was actaully a scratch and i managed to make it even worse. Can these be replaced or has anyone here ever tried to take it off
 
About £150 for that part, or $300 if you are more USD based.
 
Holy £$%£$%, that's quite expensive alright, i really don't need a new one however i would like to remove it and get it re-sprayed as it really annoys me when i look at it. Has anyone ever tried to remove this, thanks again for the replies
 
Indeed easy. I also know someone who has a spare one of those who might want to sell it.

The peeling/wear is a new one on me. Thanks for the pic to clarify. Panel pieces like this are expensive so unless it is really in bad shape I would try either to paint or a vinyl overlay.
 
Thanks guys, it's not that bad, but it's just annoying me, i'l try remove it later and paint it at the weekend, thanks for your help guys, i'l let you know how i get on
 
Wow .. I can see the problem ... that red panel is really distracting ... I think I'd have to replace it!!!!! :D
 
Thought you would be more confused about driving a left hand drive car in Ireland :wink:
