Can this be repaired? (Nick in leather)

It’s not the end of the world but can the nick in the red leather (I suspect it’s not leather) as seen below, be repaired invisibly??

It’s superficial but it’s bugging me ☹️

Cheers

If that’s the console it’s pvc not leather. If there’s a flap to the cut then just bond it. If not then just get some matching colour (the leather touch ups will work on pvc in non wearing areas).

In answer to john-e89, Maniac's right. If it's plastic, a pro will warm it, lift the 'triangle', superglue it, dress lightly with 1200 wet & dry, apply coloured filler, dress again and probably spray whole area with matt sealant.

In my experience, damage like this to leather is easier to repair.

That would be good - I contacted a soton based repairer, let’s see what they say.

👍

Lord knows what this will cost you for a tiny imperfection. I’d have a go myself, a bit of warmth, soft glue to ease cleaning later, a bit of matching colour and you’d never notice it unless you got a microscope out.
