Can the DVD Navigation Drive play mp3

Hi

New here and 1st post so hello everyone. About to pull the trigger and get a Z4M Coupe. The one I've been looking at is a 08 with Navigation and about the only thing missing is a CD changer, so I was wondering if the DVD drive can be used to play mp3s that have been burned to a DVD? I've also seen a few posts on here about an aux-in but have to say that I didn't spot it during a test drive, so any info about this would be appreciated as well.

no chance with the Nav playing mp3's, Aux as jamie says will be under the heater controls you will have to get low to see it, standard on 07 cars onwards though.
