Can I replace sensor myself

Last year the dreaded two DSC warning lights came on. Garage diagnose the DSC sensor which was replaced and have been fine till now.

The two lights are back so I presume the other sensor is gone. My question is can I just buy a sensor and replace it myself. The garage seem to just take five mins to fit the last one. Or will it need coded back in or something like that.

If I replace DSC sensor myself will it need faults codes cleared or will it just recognize the new sensor and all will be okay with no warming lights.

Was/is the fault the brake fluid pressure sensor. There are two of them
They look like the item below?
