Hi, have just recentley aquired a Z4 3.0i complete with naviagtion system. Went out in car Friday & used navigation system. Sytem works ok but i would really like to mute the naviagtion voice & just monitor the display when required. I know i can go into settings & adjust the navi volume down to min but it still outputs a faint voice command. does anyone know if its possibly to totally mute the voice command & if so how ? Other cars i have driven with standard sat nav sytems allow me to do this but my Z4 does not appear to be able to do this. Its the mk4 professional sytem with v32 software & the latest disc fitted.

When it's navigating. Press the selector knob, select 'Instruction', press and hold the selector knob for a couple of seconds - the voice is now muted (the speaker symbol next to 'instruction' now shows a line through it)

I know im a bit late in replying, but many thanks for answering my question. Its simple when you know how ! I'd looked through the navigation instruction manual several times unable to find the answer. Next time i need a question answering i know where to come. Once again many thanks.....................

(gosh I usually despise these smiley faces but just can't resist)And I've always wished the white navigation line stood out a bit more, sometimes a bit difficult to see it when the roads are all in yellow... unless it's just me
