Can I get Cup holders?

Hi

New to the forum so excuse me if this is obvious to everyone except me!

I have an 03 Z4 with no cup holders, am I able to buy done and install them myself?

I'm guessing yes but want to be sure before I start faffing about with them

If so, is there a how to?

you can but Prob need to ebay them, ordered some myself yesterday plus the faceplate for them but had to get the passenger side from the states

cost around 30 each holder and around a tenner each for the face plates

I fitted them myself fairly recently - a very easy job. As Ant said, you'll need both the cup holder and the faceplate - roughly £40 each altogether

Bear in mind that the driver and passenger sides are different so you'll need to get the specific ones. I followed this video to find out how to get to the cup holders. The existing faceplate is clipped in so you'll have to remove that first.

I tried the local dealer and they said it would be a "long order" or something like that where there was no date on when it will or could be filled.
Drivers side holder + both faceplates i got on ebay either from traders or bmw-direct.
Passenger side seems to be the issue for getting it in the uk/ordered in, managed to get mine from a us dealer for £25+£10customs and £7 shipping, again through ebay but international seller based in the states
 
I got mine off amazon. Cost more than eBay but I had them within a couple of weeks. Fitted in 10mins too.
 
Sopers said the below about cupholders earlier this week:-

"The cupholders can be ordered but are currently on backorder, with no stock here or Germany."
 
Aye that's what the dealer told me on saturday pretty much, told him i could get them+face plates for around £40 on ebay to which he replied "yeah go with that much better option if they've got stock"
 
Stratstone of Hull have some holders. I got a driver's side one (already had a passenger one) from them 2 weeks ago. Got the Faceplate from Coopers.
