A smallish tree. Maybe 2m.

Opinions? Wrapped and in the passenger seat, with a sheet to protect the interior.

Or diagonal across the boot?

I'm waiting for the roadie brigade to come and laugh their way past new year. Sorry, I'm no help at all here !

I guess when wrapped tight ... You could get it through the boot, between the bulk head plastics and towards the dash, even tying the bootlid down. I know I would be paranoid about damaging the zed though doing it that way ...

I'm saying nothing !

With the root end in the footwell a 6ft tree (netted) should fit in no problem
Pics required for future reference

Just stick the root end in the boot and tie the boot down - you will get a 3m one home no problem lol

I did some measuring, didn't fancy accidentally spearing the roof lining and there was no way I was tying it to the car. I considered taking the TVR and doing the roof off thing, but in the end I just manned up and carried it home.

The problem you'll have will be fitting it between the rear seats and the boot. If it's wrapped tightly and you can bend the top a bit, then the trunk will sit in the front passenger footwell, and the top of the tree can bend into the boot. Not sure about 2m tree though - will it fit between the seats and over the back of the cabin?

I had a 2m section of plastic gutter in the front passenger footwell and through into boot, so maybe.

Or you could plan ahead and get one for use in 5 years time, 1m tall now and growing in a pot...
