Can i drive without abs/dsc pump module?

My little z4 has a dashboard that lights up like a Christmas tree, abs, dsc, tire pressure and handbrake, caused by a failed abs/dsc pump module. Still runs fine though.

A new abs/dsc pump module costs a lot, lucky my old z4 is from 2005 which means the module can be repaired with a bit of luck.

Problem is that companies that do that are located in us/uk (i'm from the netherlands), but i can ship but this takes a long time.

Can i drive without abs/dsc pump module? (i'll cap the fluid lines)

This way i can still use the car (short distance once a week) while my module takes a journey around the world.

You could find a used unit and get it re-programmed for your car, or hire a cheap runabout which is probably best.

Good tip, i indeed saw a few used units on several sites this morning, this may also be a good alternative. I'll sure look into it.
Thumbs up!

Cant ACtronics (in Almelo) fix your module?
Afaik they also do the z4 module.
Cheers for the name. I didn't know about ACtronics yet. I'll give them a call very soon and see if they can repair this specific unit.

Thanks again!
