Can Bilstein B6 struts/shock handle any lowering at all?

On a Z4M. Simple question. Anyone here know?

Does the B6 have a longer/taller bump stop that OE? I thought I read that, not sure if there is any truth to it.

Thanks.

B6 is basically a replacement for OEM although they are slightly harder ride apparently. I think the main thing is it solves the travel issue at the back so the car doesn't feel so skittish.

Thanks all. I'm assuming then, that the B16/PSS10 shocks must not have as much of a bump stop issue since they have such a range of drop available.

I don't perceive the B6 as being harsh. I would like to lower the car that has them on, would be only about 3/8 inch if I use the springs I have. I guess I'm looking at a different strut/shock combo or coil overs then.

I thought the deal was that the B6 is firmer than the B4, but otherwise similar?

I thought the B4 could hand 20-30mm of lowering, and therefore the B6 can too, but -

(1) If you want firmer and lower, then the B8s are the best option because they are firm like B6s but designed for lowering.
(2) You can get different bump stops for B4s and B6s to eliminate (or reduce?) the banging over potholes that can come from lowering.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
