Can anyone fix my Z4 roof motor please?

Hi
I own a Z4 soft top 2007 3 litre model. My husband pulled the red level in the boot and now the motor has been disconnected so the top won’t open mechanically, can anyone recommend someone who can fix this please as close to Hereford as possible please? Thank you

From where you are based your closest roof guru is Alan ([ref]Number5[/ref]), in Bristol.
You need three posts to PM him, but I've 'referenced' him in this reply and I'll text him now to look.

Was the roof motor working before your husband pulled the red lever ?

Then a simple move to the boot and unstick the bypass valve hopefully.
Oh and take his key away 🤣

Get your husband to do the reverse of what he did originally and the roof motor should re-engage
