Ive had a problem with airbag light coming on , when scanned it came back with under voltage and airbag lamp. I replaced the airbag control module with a used one. Scanning comes back with no errors now but the lamp is still on. Using BMW scanner v1.4. I'm guessing it's because the vin no's. aren't matching, can anyone do this or point me to someone who can? TIA.
Can anyone close to West Sussex recode an airbag control module?

Managed to get my airbag light to go off at last! One of the modules I bought off ebay was dud which wasted some time even though it scanned with bmw scanner as no faults and showed up green on the unit tree in ista d. Finally go a working one and changed the vin with BMW scanner V1.4, easier to do than I thought! At least I can put the interior back in (had some water ingress issues as well) after drying out the carpets and I can hopefully enjoy driving the car.
