I have a few old camera,Cannon A1, Ricoh Kr10, Pentax me super.Various telephoto lens, cannon, tam ron, sigma all this kit is prior digital age.
Is there a market for the above or are they a bin job.
There is a market, but don't expect to get a fortune. PM me a list of the Canon lenses, I've been buying FD lenses for my old T90 film camera when I find good ones
I think so! The battery was removed a long time ago just in case it leaked. I think we've generaly become a bit lazy with digi cameras and would find using film a bit of a chore.
Some day it may be an heirloom or at least a curiosity!
Thanks for the replies,I spent quite a lot of money on cameras in the 80`s,it would be painful just to throw away.
Stuart I will have think for a couple of days ,then give you a pm.
If they are in good condition you may be better off keeping them until what you have is very very rare. You never know there might be a premium for that sort of thing in years to come...
Alternatively, if you want rid, check your local colleges - photography courses still teach 35mm so students need to pick up cameras, or rely on loaners.
