Camera on front bumper!

Nice video but.....

Hit play and turn up ya speakers!

P.s. Does anybody to this day know what car it actually was?

EDIT* HAHA, didn't know this thread was already 4 pages long so this vid has probably already been posted up! Oops! Question is still valid though....

It's said that the car was probably the director's own Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9, the soundtrack was from a Ferrari 275GTB. It's an amazing clip but he's not going as fast as the dubbed over soundtrack would have you believe... :)

Received my 808 yesterday and gave it a trial run today very dissapointed works fine but the video is very out of focus.
Contacted seller and sending a fully tested replacement,so can't argue with that.

I read something about a similar issue being down to the threads being misthreaded on the lens. If you don't need to send yours back, try pulling it apart and re-attaching the lens, could be fixable :)

From reading the review posted earlier and then the comments in this thread it sounds like it's a lottery whether you get a decent quality camera or a fairly useless lead-filled plastic keyfob! Shame because they look so tempting to buy!

Here's mine:

Managed to upload it in HD too (so make sure you change the setting in the bottom right of the video for playback). Very happy with picture quality, not so impressed with the sound. Thinking of trying to isolate the windnoise using clingfilm over the camera next time...

That was my £6.49 camera. I've still to try my £14 one :D

Small piece of foam stuffed into the mic hole works well. Or sellotape ove the hole. Noise isnt completely gone as the wind gets in through the lens hole too.

was checking some videos out which were made with this cam, ... check this out, quite a nice quality for such a smal device!

Edit i'm running XP

You need to have the video's ID only inside the [youtube] tags in order for it to be embedded in your post.

Like this:

Code:
[youtube]SE0tfBST1tg[/youtube]

To find the video's ID, in Youtube, click on the "Share" button underneath the video. It will give a link like this: http://youtu.be/SE0tfBST1tg the ID is that weird string of digits and numbers on the end, just copy and paste that between the [youtube] tags. :)

ally-
Pretty scary for us over here in the US to see you driving on the wrong side like that! Some of that oncoming traffic had my right foot stomping on the floor, looking for the brake!

Loved the scenery, though. You live in a beautiful place. Really enjoyed the video. I'll have to give mine a try, and get some So. California video to share.

Great vid - particularly like you stuffing it up the inside of the (what looks like a) 'blade :)

I've been trying to get a similar mount setup on my bike but it has a black front screen so doesn't really work too well, stupid vanity! :)

I just ordered a tow hook camera mount for my GoPro. Upto now I mounted my GoPro on the windshield for track days but I'll see how this goes. Will post my vid here afterwards!
